Having easily crossed the Kardung La pass we opted to stop in the small village of Tsati where we were the guests of a local family.

This is Sati village a green patch on the opposite side of the Shyok river. The view is from Khalsar

From Tsati the road is quite good heading into lower Nubra valley and toward Panamic.
