Conditions and Payments

The following services are always included in our tours:

• Enfield rental motorcycle
• All food and accommodation (twin share basis)
• Fuel and oil throughout all tours
• With the exception of our tent camp in Sarchu in the Himalayas, all hotel accommodations consist of double rooms with bath/WC
• A support jeep accompanies us with the luggage and spare parts for the motorcycles
• First-aid kit in jeep, including a basic selection of essential medical supplies
• Welcome information meeting
• Warm-up tour with the bike (introduction to Enfield handling and the basics of riding in India)
• Experienced, English-speaking guides throughout the tour
• All admission fees (not including photo and video permits), road and bridge tolls, inner border line permits, etc.

1. DEPOSTS, BOOKINGS AND PAYMENTS

A deposit of € 500 (or the equivalent in US dollars ) is payable on receiving your motorcycle at the start of the tour. This deposit will be refunded at the end of the tour. The deposit will cover any damages to the bike on the tour.

Price does not include:
• Personal Expenses (Tips, Beverages, Laundries etc.)
• Medical Expenses
• All those expenses which are not mentioned in Price.

Prices are correct at the time of printing, however circumstances beyond our control, eg; Government action, taxes and currency fluctuations, may cause an increase. If such cases arise Riding high Tours will absorb amounts equivalent to a maximum of 2% of the tour cost although we reserve the right to pass on surcharges larger than this.

2. CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS 

Cancellations received less than 45 days prior to departure will be subject to the following of tour cost, 44- 20 days 30 percent of tour cost, within 19 days days 50 percent of the tour cost.

3. INSURANCE 

Our tour price does not include any travel insurances. An adequate travel, health and accident insurance is mandatory to participate on the tours.

4. TOUR CANCELLATION 

Up to 30 days prior to tour start Riding High Tours can cancel a tour if:

a) The minimum number of tour participants is not reached until then. If not stated otherwise the minimum number of participants is (6) six.

b) It turns out that the client does not comply with the requirements of the tour. In that case Riding High Tours will refund the deposit / payment in full.

c) Weather conditions or other unpredictable events outsides Riding High Tour’s influence make it impossible to operate the tour.

5. UNCLAIMED BENEFITS

Should the client not be able to complete the tour or to consume benefits included in the price of the tour, for reasons neither caused by him nor the tour operator, or should he not be able to complete the tour, he has no right to claim a refund. Riding High Tours nevertheless will try to refund the client.

6. PASSPORTS & VISAS 

Tour participants must hold a current passport that is valid for at least 6 months beyond the tour end date. India Visa’s MUST be obtained from an Indian Embassy or Consulate from your home country before departure to India.

7. DRIVING LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

Tour participants MUST hold a valid International Driving License endorsed for motorcycle operation and valid for the country of the tour. These can usually be obtained from your local Automobile Association for a small fee.

8. MEDICAL REQUIREMENTS

A thorough medical checkup is recommended before tour departure. Participants are advised to consult their nearest travel clinic or doctor/GP for the latest up to date recommendations for high altitude travel and the destination country (s) of your tour.

RELEASE AND WAIVER

When signing the booking form the client explicitly states (agrees with) the following: I am fully aware of the risks caused by motorcycling.

I am participating on the tour at my own risk. It is agreed and understood that the owners, operators and agents of this tour including Riding High Tour’s are not the guardians of any customers safety and they cannot be held liable in any way for any occurrence in connection with the tour, which might result in injury, death or damage to the client, his property, or his family, heirs, or assigns. I am well aware, that Riding High Tour’s is not being responsible for other participant’s misconduct. I agree to comply with the traffic laws and group travel regulations. I am in good health, meet the demand the tour requires, and own a valid drivers license. I am fully responsible for using a helmet and protection gear.
